Matron of Honor
Met working as servers at Olive Garden in college. I thought she was a cool cat. We kept running into each other outside of work because we hung out in the same group of people, and then I guess we just decided to be friends. I'm not exactly sure when the friendship started. It's like she had been my friend forever. I spent many nights at the Lucas St apartment with her and Lindsey, and that's where some of my favorite college memories were made. Then, in 2014 I decided to copy Melissa and invited myself to come live in Colorado, where we all lived together in a duplex in the Highlands. Now, we're all three in different places, but still talk daily.
Lindsey McLaughlin
Maid of Honor
We met as servers at Olive Garden in college. She was roommates with my Matron of Honor, and she got a job at the OG a few months after I had started. I thought she was hilarious and we just clicked. Even when I moved away from Iowa City we kept in touch on the regular. Then,I went to a 2014 NYE party at her apartment in Coralville, and that's when she told me she was moving to Colorado in June of that year. I went home and called her the next day to tell her that I was coming with. 8 years later and we're still here.
Sarah Hager
Best Woman
I met Sarah officially on April 29, 1984 in the middle of the night. Sarah and I have spent our entire lives together and I wouldn't want anyone else to be my Best Woman at my wedding. She is excited to add another sister-in-law to her family and Allison will gain a wonderful person in her life too.
Ben Walton
Best Man
I met Ben at Comanche Elementary school back in the day. We bonded over soccer and playing on a few of the same teams growing up. Our friendship continued on and got stronger in undergrad when we were roommates for awhile. Even if he was often with me when I would get in trouble he was always there to back me up no matter what. He is a solid friend and always will be.
