The two of us met in AP Physics II - a class during our senior year of high school. We had many mutual friends (many of which are attending this wedding!) but had never formally met each other. We exchanged numbers for a project in the class, and after being out sick one day, Thomas reached out to Allison and asked what he missed, and the rest is history...
We went to McAlister's Deli, just up the road from where we lived. Thomas picked Allison up, and had to meet both of her parents at the door before they could leave - and that happened by accident! Scott requested we return by 9 and that we don't go too far from home. The date went okay.
The first time we moved in together without other roommates, we moved to a small house on the far side of town that we rented together. The house was quirky and cute, but having been built in the 1940's, it had its fair share of issues. Still, we loved that little yellow house until the last day we lived there!
Thomas enlisted the help of Best Man and Matron of Honor Ethan and Madison Holland to execute the proposal. Madison invited all of us to dinner at Old Chicago pizza in Manhattan, then inconspicuously invited everyone to the Kansas State University Botanical Gardens. Allison pretended not to be suspicious as she slipped off her promise ring before they got out of the car when they arrived. The four of them walked around the gardens and just as they were getting ready to leave, Thomas handed Allison's purse to Madison as her and Ethan backed up, cameras at the ready. He positioned them below a decorative archway, got down on one knee, proclaimed his love and asked "will you marry me?" You might be able to fill in the rest.
