Our journey began in the summer of 2021 over a memorable first date at an Indian restaurant, which certainly wouldn't be our last! We found a shared love of Indian cuisine, and Shekar enlightened Allison on how well it can pair with wine! Our relationship grew through wine tasting along California's central coast, then to ski trips, music festivals, and international adventures. Last February kicked off our biggest adventure yet - Shekar proposed AND we learned we would soon become parents! Fast forward to September when we welcomed our baby boy, Ravi, to our family. He has brought a special kind of chaos to our lives, and has turned out to be quite the good luck charm in the sports world, seeing the LA Dodgers win the World Series and bringing both Kansas City (Shekar's hometown) and Philadelphia (Allison's parents' hometown) to the Superbowl. Despite the good-natured rivalry, Shekar has made it clear that Ravi will be a Chiefs fan [Allison sighs]. So wish us luck as we embark on this life journey together. We are already moving full steam ahead with a move to a bigger home this April! We look forward to hosting dinner & wine parties and someday welcoming a rescue dog. But first, we are so excited to exchange vows and celebrate with our cherished friends and family (ie You!) this June. 💛
