Ally & Sam
The Proposal
Sam asked Ally to take a sunny day off to go to Hood River. On May 3rd, they went to brunch at their favorite spot and headed on their way. They spent the day sipping wine, looking at the flowers and sampling local bites. Sam was playing it so cool that Ally didn’t suspect a thing. She asked “So what’s next, are we going home or something?” and he replied, “something like that.” Next thing she knows they are driving up a windy mountain road, pulling over next to a pasture filled with grazing cows—a convenient decoy he later admitted. He took Ally on a short hike to the top of a ridge with a gorgeous view of Mt. Hood. With wildflowers in bloom and the sun shining, they were the only ones in sight. Sam pulled her in close and began telling her all the reasons he loves her. How he loves traveling with her, cooking at home, doing anything and everything or nothing at all. He got down on one knee, pulled out the perfect ring and asked her to marry him, getting an emphatic yes in return!
