Things To Do

Everyone knows of the theme parks - here's a few of the spots we like to frequent when we're in town.
East End Market

East End Market

3201 Corrine Drive, Orlando, FL 32803
, (321) 236-3316

If we'd been able to keep our guest list smaller, we would have chosen this great spot for our reception. This food hall and market promotes local businesses and is a great place to have lunch, coffee, or a beer.

4 Rivers Smokehouse - Winter Park BBQ

1600 West Fairbanks Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789
, (844) 474-8377

4Rivers is an Orlando staple and has delicious BBQ. Save room for dessert - their cakes are so delicious that they're making our wedding cake.

Lake Eola Park

Orlando, FL 32801

Go for a run or a stroll around Lake Eola for a fun view of downtown.

Yellow Dog Eats

1236 Hempel Avenue, Windermere, FL 34786
, (407) 296-0609

This is Allison's favorite restaurant in Orlando. It's a bit of a trek, but visit on Friday night for great food, good wine, and maybe even live music on the back porch. Bring a picture of your dog and a sharpie - you'll see why.

Crooked Can Brewing Company

426 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL 34787
, (407) 395-9520

Allison's family lives in Winter Garden, and the downtown area is very cute (and Instagrammable!). If you get into town early and want to check out a local brewery, the Crooked Can is a great stop. It's located in a food hall with options for dinner, and you can enjoy a brew on the porch. Orlando winters are typically pretty mild, and outdoor brews are a great break from your regular winter programming.

Winter Garden Downtown Pavilion and Farmers Market

104 South Lakeview Avenue, Winter Garden, FL 34787
, (407) 656-4155

Saturday morning markets in downtown Winter Garden are a blast! They have great food, cool art vendors, and (sometimes) live music. This downtown area is also great for sitting and relaxing on the swings (and people watching, of course).

Downtown Winter Park

110 North Park Avenue, Winter Park, FL 32789
, (407) 599-3399

If you're staying near the venue and want to explore local shopping and restaurants, downtown Winter Park is the place to be. You can't go wrong with restaurants or small boutiques here.

The Mall at Millenia

4200 Conroy Road, Orlando, FL 32839
, (407) 363-3555

Forget something? Millenia is a hub for all kinds of shopping with all kinds of budgets. There's play areas for the kids, two Starbucks, and plenty of comfortable seating to appease the family while you get your shopping on.

Disney Springs

1486 Buena Vista Drive, Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
, (407) 939-6244

If you want a taste of Disney while you're here but don't want to go to a park, Disney Springs is a great option. You can take a free boat tour, ride in a hot air balloon, and enjoy lots of options for dining and shopping. Allison's favorite shop is Sugar Boo, and you can dine in restaurants run by World-class chefs like Jose Andreas and Wolfgang Puck.

Universal CityWalk Orlando

6000 Universal Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32819
, (407) 363-8000

City Walk is the Universal equivalent to Disney Springs, offering dining and shopping with a view of the theme parks. Fun fact: Allison worked at the Margaritaville retail store during the summer in college. Fins up!
