When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes - black tie optional. The ceremony & the cocktail hour will be outside (weather permitting) and reception will be inside. Think elevated mountain formal: - Floor-length dresses, cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits - Tuxedos, suits, or dark jackets - Heels, wedges, dressy flats, or boots (yeehaw!) - You may want to bring a wrap or light jacket for cooler evening temps

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding events will be adults-only. If you have questions, feel free to reach out.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes! Donovan Pavilion has plenty of parking onsite

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Please visit the Travel tab for more information on our shuttles to/from The Hythe Vail and Donovan Pavilion throughout the afternoon/evening

Is Vail at high altitude?

Answer

Yes — Vail sits at 8,150 feet. To avoid altitude sickness: - Drink lots of water - Limit alcohol the first night - Use sunscreen - Take it easy on arrival day

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Not necessarily. Once you're in Vail: - Most hotels are walkable - Free Vail bus runs frequently (see Travel tab for more information on Vail bus stops close to wedding events) - Village areas are pedestrian-friendly If you're staying outside Vail Village/Lionshead, a car may be helpful.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Early June in Vail is beautiful but can vary. This winter/spring has been unusually warm in Colorado so temperatures could be higher than average (fingers crossed!) Daytime: ~60–70°F Evenings: ~35–45°F Mountain weather changes quickly — layers are your friend! Bring a jacket or wrap for evening events
