Brooke and Allison met as interns and quickly became travel buddies, apartment neighbors, and best friends. They bonded over deep conversations, feminism, emotional intelligence, and a shared talent for turning any hangout into a full yap session that could last for hours. After traveling through Europe together (Brooke’s first time on a plane), their friendship deepened into one of complete ease and authenticity. Brooke became someone Allison could fully be herself around, without hesitation. Brooke has shown up through every season of life with steady support, humor, and heart. She also played a meaningful role in the engagement, helping keep the surprise and driving Allison to the proposal location without giving anything away. Allison and Leyira are so grateful to have her standing beside them on their wedding day.

Kylie and Allison met in a business presentation class at UWEC and quickly connected over classwork and life beyond college. That friendship later led to Kylie joining the Small Business Development Center, and their connection continued to grow. Outside of class and work, their friendship was shaped in everyday Eau Claire life; spending time on Water Street, floating down the river, and going on long walks. Along the way, they always found themselves deep in conversation, sharing advice, perspectives, and honest reflections on life and relationships. Kylie became one of the friends who helped bring Allison out of her shell, making ordinary moments feel fun and meaningful. Even after graduation, their friendship has stayed steady and supportive, with both of them showing up to celebrate each other’s milestones and growth. Now living in the Twin Cities, Kylie and Allison continue to stay close, thrifting, getting coffee, and exploring their new city together as life continues to unfold. Allison and Leyira are so glad she is joining us on the special day.
