We met in Spanish class at University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. One freshman who rarely spoke during class, and one junior sitting front row asking every question imaginable. We’ll let you guess who is who! Somehow, what started as conversations about homework turned into hours of talking, getting to know each other, and sharing parts of ourselves that usually take much longer to reveal. Our first real one-on-one hangout was at Acoustic Cafe in Eau Claire, and somewhere between coffee, conversation, and realizing we could talk about anything, we stopped feeling like strangers and started feeling like people who just understood each other. After months of friendship and flirting, we eventually made our way to each other in April 2022, and we officially started dating. Since then, our relationship has always felt rooted in two things: being deeply ourselves and laughing constantly along the way. We’ve spent years talking about the world, dreaming about the future, traveling whenever we can, and building a life that feels exciting and meaningful. We’ve learned that love for us looks less like perfection and more like curiosity, emotional honesty, inside jokes, and choosing each other every day. On a lightly rainy day in August 2025 surrounded by the people we love most, we stood on a hill overlooking the St. Croix River and made the easiest decision yet, to keep choosing each other forever. Now we’re so excited to celebrate the beginning of this next chapter with all of you.
