Flight
The Bay Area has two main airports: SFO (San Francisco) and OAK (Oakland). Both are about 15-20 miles from the heart of San Francisco, and an hour from Tiburon. Track flights for both locations to find the best deal!

While we recommend in or near Tiburon, please feel free to stay and explore San Francisco! There are many Airbnb, VRBO, and hotel options that could fit your needs. Additional hotel recommendations: Lodge at the Presidio and Inn at the Presidio in the Presidio, 1 Hotel in the Financial District, The Fairmont in Nob Hill, and a variety of hotels in the Union Square area (Marriotts, Hiltons, etc.).
Rental Car
Getting a rental car is totally up to you. Ubers are easy to get in SF and Tiburon, but there are a ton of activities outside of the city that are much more accessible with a rental car (wineries, hikes, and beaches!).
