Colton and Alli first met at a mutual friend's wedding in November of 2023. What was just supposed to be a night of celebration for their friends, turned into something more. Coincidentally, this was also a wedding Alli was nearly unable to attend. It must have been a mixture of fate and some persuasion from the bride and groom that made the couple's paths cross. With some convincing from the groom, Alli reached out to Colton a week later for their first date. That night, the couple had their first of many brewery dates. The minutes turned into hours as it seemed neither of them wanted the night to end. After that night, the couple continued to see each other, making things official early in the new year. Colton and Alli spent the following months exploring new breweries, challenging each other to mini golf games, and having many summer bonfires at Colton's family farm. Not even a full year into the relationship, Colton and Alli took the leap and moved in together, which turned out to be the best decision the couple made. The months seemed to fly by, and in the summer of 2025, Colton planned a bonfire and cookout at the family farm. Except, this wasn't just any weekend bonfire that the couple usually had, this night was also going to be a celebration of an engagement with the couple's families. Alli didn't make it easy on Colton, unknowingly hampering Colton's careful plan the entire day leading up to the special moment. Even though it wasn't easy, Colton was able to pop the question according to his plan, in the pasture at the family farm.
