Question

What is your plan with COVID-19?

Answer

Our top priority is to have our guests safe, happy, and healthy together. We know that we are all excited for things to get back to normal. We are too but are taking things one day at a time. The effective vaccine is projected to be out by May of 2021 to everyone. By our wedding, everyone should have the chance to be fully vaccinated. We will communicate with updates when available.

Will you still have the wedding and reception then?

Answer

Our wedding will take place June 19, 2021. We want everyone to be there, but our church is only at half capacity right now. For those that cannot be there, we will live stream our service to Facebook for everyone to share our love. We will still have the reception. We have hope that the vaccine is distributed to everyone by our wedding date. We recommend that you are fully vaccinated by the wedding date. If not, we ask that you socially distance, wear a mask when not eating or drinking, and wash your hands often. We also recommend that you test for the virus about a week before the wedding. If you are experiencing any symptoms related to COVID-19, please stay at home. Thank you so much for keeping our families safe and taking the precautions to enjoy our day together.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 15, 2021 for catering purposes.

Do I have to mail back my RSVP or can I RSVP online?

Answer

If you want to save the stamp, RSVP online. If you prefer paper, that is okay as well. As long as you do one or the other, we will make sure to count it.

Will you have a cocktail hour?

Answer

We will not have a cocktail hour. However, if you check out our things to do page, we have a few ideas in mind!

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes, we are registered on Target and Amazon. We are also registered on Zola for our honeymoon fund along with several home funds!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Please refer to the schedule page on our website.

Are kids invited?

Answer

If the invitation states that you can bring them, you can bring them! We want everyone to be in on the celebration without going over our max occupancy.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive for the ceremony 15-30 minutes early. The ceremony will start exactly at 2 PM.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your RSVP says "and Guest," then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Am I allowed to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Before the ceremony, absolutely! After the ceremony, yes! During the ceremony, no pictures are allowed. We have hired two fantastic, professional photographers and videographer to capture our moment. They have been capturing weddings for many years and have stunning portfolios. Will there be food and drinks served?

Answer

Oh yes there will! We will have a full open bar, a buffet line, and wedding cake. Our main mission is to make you stuffed!

Peppered beef tenderloin, chicken bruschetta, pasta con broccoli, loaded garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, house salad, and rolls. Cake will be served after!

What kind of bar is it?

It is an open bar with premium drinks for purchase. Enjoy!

Is there transportation from the ceremony to the reception?

Answer

No, but if you check out the "Things To Do" page, you can find out experiences you may want to try.

No, but Lyft and Uber are great services to use!

Yes! There will be plenty of free parking at the ceremony and the reception.

Cocktail, please! But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose. No jeans, please.

Are there any colors you would prefer me not to wear?

Answer

Allison would prefer that guest stray away from the color white. Our wedding colors are grey and dark green.

Yes, both the ceremony and reception are wheelchair accessible.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Missouri is a funny state that can sometimes play tricks. In June, the weather is mostly sunny, hot, and humid. However, it can be a little chilly at night. Look at the local forecast to perhaps bring a jacket and/or umbrella.

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be indoors.

What if I have more questions that are not listed?

Answer

Please call or text Allison or Cody up until the day of the wedding. For any day-of questions, please call or text a member of the bridal party or parents instead so we can be present during our day.
