Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal attire-suits and ties, cocktail or evening dresses, or other polished looks are perfect. The ceremony will be outdoors, with a slightly uneven walkway and grass areas for parking and seating, so we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats over stilettos. The reception will be held indoors, so you'll have a chance to cool off and dance in comfort!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Expect warm weather, highs around 90 degrees and lows in the 70s. It can be humid, and there's a small chance of rain. We recommend dressing in light, breathable fabrics and bringing a layer for the evening. For the outdoor ceremony, we'll have fans available and a rain plan in place!

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Enchanted Ranch in San Marcos, Texas. The ceremony will take place outdoors by a beautiful pond, with guests seating on grass alongside a slightly uneven walkway leading down the aisle. The reception will follow indoors at the same venue, where you can relax, dine, and dance the night away in comfort.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, please join us for cocktail hour outdoors at the Enchanted Ranch. Enjoy drinks and appetizers while mingling with friends and family. During this time, the wedding party will be taking photos, so feel free to relax and soak in the celebration. The indoor reception area won't officially open yet, but if the weather gets too warm, guests are welcome to step inside to cool off.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

Answer

We're keeping additional wedding events limited so we can focus on the big day, but we're so excited to have you join us for the ceremony and reception! For guests arriving early or staying the weekend, we've included a "Things to Do" section on our website with local spots to eat, explore, and enjoy in San Marcos. We hope you make a fun trip out of it!

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Due to the space limitations of our venue, we unfortunately have to limit the rehearsal dinner guest list to those who will be playing a role in the ceremony. We apologize in advance to those who are not included.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend arriving at 3:00pm to give yourself plenty of time to park, walk to the ceremony site, and get settled before we say "I do"! The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm, and we'd love for all guests to be seated and ready by then.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Yes, parking is free at the Enchanted Ranch. There is plenty of onsite parking available for all guests. Please note that the parking area is on grass, so choose footwear accordingly. Signs and attendants will help guide you once you arrive.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love and cherish all the little ones in our lives, we've chosen to include only the children of immediate family in our celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with the people we know and love. Due to limited space, we're only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be noted there. Thanks so much for understanding!

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Answer

We don't have a formal hotel block, but we've listed several recommended places to stay near the Enchanted Ranch on the Travel section of our website. You'll find a range of options to fit different budgets, all within a short drive of the venue. We recommend booking early, especially for weekend stay in San Marcos!

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 8th, 2026. You're welcome to RSVP online through our website or by mailing back the RSVP card included with your invitation, whichever is easier for you!

Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?

Answer

The reception area indoors at the Enchanted Ranch is wheelchair accessible. The outdoor ceremony space includes grassy areas and a slightly uneven walkway, which may be challenging for some wheelchair users. If you have specific accessibility needs or concerns, please reach out to us directly, we're happy to help make arrangements to ensure your comfort.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

Answer

Yes! Cocktail hour will be held outdoors with a selection of appetizers and drinks for you to enjoy while mingling and celebrating.

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

Yes! Dinner will be served at the reception, provided by Jimmy Lyn’s Catering. Our menu will include a fresh strawberry salad to start, followed by almond chicken topped with chipotle cheese sauce, creamy mac and cheese, garlic green beans, and mashed potatoes. If you have any allergies or are vegetarian/vegan, we’ll make sure you’re taken care of with an alternative option.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

Answer

We'll be serving a select menu chosen for all guests. While we won't be able to accommodate all individual dietary preferences, we will make accommodations for vegetarian, vegan, and medically necessary dietary restrictions. Please share any dietary restrictions with your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
