Louisiana Tech University offers beautiful and historic sights. See the iconic Lady of the Mist, Tech Clock Tower, and alumni brick walk, where you can even find the bride's alumni brick from 2017.
Garland Gregory Hide-A-Way Park
Garland Gregory Hideaway Park is located on the Louisiana Tech Campus in Ruston. The park is open daily from dawn to dusk and includes several pavilions throughout the park to provide picnic areas, some of which are equipped with grills and fire pits. The park includes several walking trails, a challenging 18 hole frisbee golf course,and a pond that provides opportunities for fishing and canoeing.
Downtown Ruston
In downtown Ruston, you'll find boutiques, coffee houses, and restaurants. Ponchatoulas and Bayou Axe are some local favorites.
Lincoln Parish Park
Need some fresh air? Lincoln Parish Park is the place! Right outside of Ruston and has paved paths, RV site, swimming, and fishing.
Mitcham Farms
Ruston is known as the Peach Capital of Louisiana and is home to the renowned Mitcham Farms. At Mitcham Farms you can get a wide variety of peach jellies, salsas, preserves, and more.
The Bulldog Project
Ruston hosts tons of local artists and art projects. The Bulldog Project is a public art installation that consists of 22 large bulldog statues each designed by a local artist. These eye-catching bulldogs are located throughout Ruston, which makes for a fun scavenger hunt with friends or family!
North Louisiana Military Museum
The North Louisiana Military Museum houses an impressive collection of uniforms, weapons, flags, training gear, aircraft, and war vehicles. The museum is a delight for any history buff, but will also fascinate visitors of all ages with American and enemy artifacts from America's conflicts during the 20th century. World War I & II, Korea, Vietnam and the Gulf Wars are particularly well represented.

Shop, eat, and support local at the Ruston Farmers Market. Choose from a wide selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables, meat, eggs, honey, jams, salsa, and other locally produced goods. Customers can also shop for natural skin care products, soaps, woodworks, and more, all hand-crafted by local artists and makers. The Ruston Farmers Market also has live music and demos every Saturday morning! The Ruston Farmers Market also features a beautiful mural painted on the exterior of their covered, open-air facility.
