Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The ceremony will be held in an open air chapel at White Oak Venue in Ruston, Louisiana (weather permitting). The reception will be held at the same venue in their reception space next to the chapel.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

White Oak is located at 515 LA 3072, Ruston, LA 71270. There are two ways to get to White Oak Venue. Option 1- take LA- 167 North, take a right on LA- 3072, come to the bridge and take a left at White Oak sign Option 2- take LA- 33 North, take a left on LA- 3072, go West on 3072 until you see the White Oak sign on the right

When are RSVPs due?

Answer

Due to our vendors needing adequate numbers for catering, drinks, and seating, we ask all guests to RSVP by May 21st, 2025. This gives us plenty of time to inform our vendors of numbers.

Do I have to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! Please kindly RSVP by the due date (even if you have verbally told us)! This way we can easily keep track of guests. Even if you plan on not attending, we kindly request you let us know via the RSVP link!

What should I wear?

Answer

We ask everyone to wear comfortable, but nice clothing (semi-formal, cocktail, or Sunday best clothes). Please no denim or jeans.

What about the weather/won't it be hot?

Answer

Louisiana summer can be quite warm. We plan to hold the ceremony in the evening for it to be cooler. The chapel is shaded and has ceiling fans that produce a nice breeze. We will also be providing pre-ceremony refreshments and handheld fans. The ceremony will be about 30 minutes and then the reception will be in an air conditioned building. If there is inclement weather in the forecast (e.g. severe heat wave or storms), we have a plan B in place for the ceremony.

Where should I stay?

For our out of town guests, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Ruston, LA. For more information on reserving a room, please see our travel section on our website.

I have pictures/videos to share! How can I get them to you?

Answer
