It was a cold fall night in State College, Anthony and Alli were both at the Shandygaff downtown with friends on a Saturday night after a football game. Anthony was with his cousin and friends who were mutual friends with Alli. Alli went to say 'hi' to these mutual friends and caught Anthony's eye, who introduced himself. They shared a couple of pokey sticks and paid a visit to canyon pizza. It was a great night. While in State College, Anthony and Alli shared a few dates at their favorite restaurants, La Plaza Mexico and The Field. Alli eventually went off to PA school in Philadelphia, PA. They parted ways for short time. Anthony then also moved to Philly to get his MBA. They crossed paths while in Philly and knew there was something special between them. Again, they shared a few more special moments together at the Christmas Village in downtown Philly, Ryan's pub in Manayunk and of course the Dew Inn. After Alli was sick of attending so many Phillies games, she moved back home to central PA, continuously running from Anthony. Once again, Anthony soon followed. Then came quarantine, which consisted of home workouts together, hiking and hotdogs and mac&cheese dinners. Alli knew Anthony was the one and Anthony was just thankful that Joe (Alli's stepdad) cooked him dinner. Through the uncertainties of covid, one thing was clear, Anthony and Alli couldn't imaging a life without each other. They became so close and decided to purchase the most expensive vacuum imaginable, their dog, Utley. They soon moved in together in Mechanicsburg, PA and created a home. They are so grateful for their family and friends that have always supported their relationship along the way and those who have watched their bond grow stronger each day. We are so thankful and honored you all are here to help celebrate this exciting milestone!
Anthony and Alli were on vacation in Ocean City, MD at her grandma's condo. They had "plans" to go to brunch with his family. Before "brunch", Anthony took Alli on a walk along the docks. Alli had no idea at the time, but her life was going to change for the better. Once they arrived at the edge of the dock, Anthony set a towel down (to make sure not to drop the ring through the wooden dock) and got down on one knee, to tie his shoe, Oh! and also propose. Alli's family jumped out and surprised her, while Anthony's family hid in a boat along the dock. We spent the whole day celebrating on the beach, but never went to "brunch".
