Maid of Honor
In August of 2006 Lauren and I auditioned for the musical Les Misérables at the Salem Community Theatre. Since that show we have remained best friends for over 15 years. We love spending time together by going to the beaches in Chicago, watching Real Housewives, and breaking bread over Taco Bell chalupas. In the time we've known each other we have celebrated so many milestones together, and I cannot imagine having any one else as my MoH on this incredible day.
Matron of Honor
Jordan is my (AK’s) only sister and has always been there for me. We grew up dressing up our little brother and fighting like any good sisters do over Barbie’s and everything. Jordan used to drive me to school every morning for a few years and I could still probably name all the songs we listened to on repeat. Every Christmas we would drive around the rich neighborhoods looking for the best Christmas light and screaming Mariah Carey’s Christmas anthem. It’s no doubt Jordan HAD to be the one standing by my side on the best day of my life. I couldn’t do this without you sister. I love you!
Best Man
Andrew is my little brother, and my best friend. When I found out I was going to be a big sister, I was so excited. But once Andrew actually got here, I wanted nothing to do with him. (I tried pushing him out of my mom's arms at the hospital - whoops!) My tune quickly changed, and I would not be who I am today without him. Andy was the first person I came out to back in 2012. My brother is the life of the party, and I am so proud of the man he has become!
Best Man
Oh, Madison… :). Madison and I (AK) grew up thick as thieves, only two years apart. Madison was my human baby doll for so long and in most of our baby pictures, the two of us are right by each other’s sides. Madison is always the life of the party and we never miss a chance to throw down. He was my biggest supporter when I came out to him and that’s something I’ll never forget. I’m so so happy to have a best man up there with me and can’t wait to dance!!
Bridesman
Nathan & I met in 2008 while working on the show Hello Dolly at Stage Left Players in Lisbon, Ohio. Nathan specifically called me out in front of the entire cast and said “Pose like Alli Dolphin!” From there our friendship quickly formed and thrived thanks to our shared passion for theatre. We have worked on several shows, theatre camps and personal projects in the time we’ve been friends. In 2013 we decided to get our dog, Ollie together. Nathan is my best friend, platonic soulmate & family!
Bridesmaid
Destiny and I (AK) met while working at a restaurant together in college before becoming roommates in Chattanooga. We lived together for six or seven years before Allison and I moved to Chicago together. There probably isn’t anyone who knows our relationship better than Destiny. At times I even catch myself jealous of how close Allison and D are with their endless nicknames and late night Madden games on the PlayStation. Destiny will always have a room in our home no matter where we live and I’m so happy you live in Chicago with us so we can keep you close. I love you little John!
Bridesmaid
Morgan and I are technically cousins, but we are more like sisters. We were so lucky to grow up together in the same neighborhood, on the same street, two doors down from each other. All my memories from my childhood are with Morgie. I couldn't imagine my wedding day without her - we have literally spent our entire lives together!
Bridesmaid
Elizabeth and I (AK) met while working at the same restaurant in college. Elizabeth was Destiny’s assigned roommate freshman year of college and I became a solid third in their already established friendship. At first, Eliza and I weren’t all too sure of each other, but all it took was one afternoon of Eliza staying at our house while D went to class for us to bond (mostly over making fun of D). We never have a dull moment and can spend the whole day shopping or just laying in bed eating and drinking wine while watching the Twilight series for the thousandth time. The four of us have been inseparable the past few years and finally all live together again in Chicago.
Bridesmaid
Taylor is my cousin, and like Morgan we were raised as sisters. When Taylor was born, Morgan and I were thrilled. We had another member of our tiny girl gang to run around the neighborhood with! Whenever we were all together people would mistake her for my sister because we looked more alike. Taylor is the sweetest gal I know. I am so happy to have her in my wedding party!
Bridesmaid
Josie and I (AK) were fatefully sat next to each other in sixth grade science class and the rest is history. I wouldn’t stop singing “Josie and the Pussycats” every single class and Josie helped pull me out of a shy kid slump. Shoot to after high school graduation where we spent an entire summer joined at the hip as we both landed back in Chattanooga. Josie and I have been there for each other through all sorts of ups and downs and no one can turn a day around like Josie Rix (sprinkle some Cindy Rix in there for a little bit of spice). I really can’t sum up our friendship in a blurb this small so just watch out for us together on the dance floor. That’s my best friend!!!

Dylan was our real-life baby doll when he was born, and like Morgan & Taylor - he is my other baby brother. We are the bookends to the cousins by age, the Alpha & the Omega. I have always admired his fun spirit, sense of humor and his remarkable intelligence. I recently got to be with him for his first tattoo, which was a fun & special experience. We are the only tattooed cousins in the fam over here! I am so thankful to have this guy standing by my side. Note: Dylan's high school graduation is on the same day as our wedding, so be sure to congratulate him when you see him!!
Bridesmaid
Carver and my (AK) friendship began in the sixth grade and has held strong for two decades. We were inseparable as Carver quickly became one of my best friends. Going into middle school, I didn’t know I single soul which makes these old friendships that much more special. Carver’s house could be a museum of our childhood as countless sleepovers were had with little sleep and a lot of time under the stars on the trampoline. We’ve been through lake house tubing accidents to the INFAMOUS wine and cheese night and countless hours of “diving for treasure” once the heated pool was installed. Our friendship is truly one that will last a lifetime and I am beyond thrilled and honored to have you standing with me.
Officiant
Michael and I (AK) have known each other since middle school days and there’s never been a dull moment. Michael was the obvious choice for officiant as his ASTOUNDING voice and endlessly kind heart will help guide Allison and AK through our commitment to one another. Michael is often the lone male with a standing invitation to girls night. He is endlessly talented and I cannot stress that enough. Many of the stories we share are locked in a vault and not to be exposed but this who know… well you know. We always had fun and continue to do so but one of my favorite memories is the GPS senior skip day that Michael skipped school for to spend a day on the boat with us. Thank you for always being willing to hang even when we don’t have other guys and for agreeing to participate in our day!
