We met on Tinder in August of 2016 while living in different cities in the state of Tennessee. While we both said we didn't want anything serious, it soon became obvious to us that we really liked each other. The foundation of our relationship was built on our love for the arts, cooking together, and creative projects. We made things official on October 24, 2016, and have been together ever since. We spent a little over a year long distance. In December of 2017 we decided to live together in Chattanooga, TN (AK's hometown). We always dreamt of moving to a bigger city, and in January 2019 we made a huge decision to move to Chicago. After 3+ years it became obvious to both of us we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We both proposed to each other in 2020, with the first proposal in January. We have been waiting patiently to host this celebration, and we are so looking forward to throwing the party of the century!
