Once upon a time, in our senior year of high school, our paths crossed in a way that felt like fate, Alex staring at Allison in Speech Class. As we twirled under the stars, we knew we wanted to take our friendship to the next level. Just as we were about to embark on our next adventure—college—we decided to start dating, knowing that our journey would soon lead us into a long-distance relationship. For four years, we navigated the challenges of distance, relying on late-night calls, surprise visits, and countless heartfelt letters.
