FAQs

If you have any questions not listed below, please reach out to Allison or Nick.
Question

What are my options for accommodations?

Answer

We have two room block options available under the "Travel" section of our website. If you wish to stay elsewhere, Park City offers many AirBnBs, VRBOs, other rentals, and hotels. We recommend staying near the Ceremony location or within walking distance of Main Street. Feel free to text Allison or Nick if you have any questions!

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

The Welcome Party attire is casual. Women Examples: casual dress, skirt and top, jeans and a blouse. Men Examples: Slacks or dress jeans, collared shirt. The Wedding Reception and Ceremony are black tie. This typically means a tuxedo for men and floor length gown for women. For a more detailed description, please visit the following link: https://www.brides.com/story/black-tie-wedding-guest-dress-code-long-gowns For Sunday brunch, feel free to wear whatever clothes you will be traveling in.

Question

Should I rent a car?

Answer

To get to Park City, Ubers near the airport should be easily accessible and average around $50 for the 40 minute drive. Once in Park City, the town offers a free bus system as well as Ubers, Lyfts, and taxis. Many hotels offer shuttle services if notified in advance. You'll be okay if you choose not to rent a car! To return to the airport following festivities, we recommend booking a car with "The Park City App" (available in the iPhone App Store). Rides will be between $65-85. While a code cannot be entered in the app, if you let us know that you booked an advance ride with this service, a 10% discount can be applied to your bill either before or after your ride.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place at one of the hotels in our room block (the Stein Eriksen Lodge) and is located across the street from our other room block option (the Chateaux). From the Chateaux, you may choose to walk, or golf carts will be provided to assist with transportation. If you choose to stay elsewhere, Uber and Lyft are available.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

Welcome Party: The Spur Bar & Grill does not have private parking or valet; Main Street offers metered street parking or there is a large metered garage directly behind the venue (China Bridge Parking Garage). Wedding Day: The Stein Eriksen Lodge will offer complimentary valet parking for wedding guests.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Typically, early September in Park City is sunny and mid-70s during the day but dips to low 60s or even high 50s at night. Keep in mind that Utah is a desert, so there will be low to no humidity.
