A Note About Our Hotels + Shuttles

To cover the widest array of needs, we have reserved a block of rooms at two different Champaign-Urbana hotels and recommended a third. While we've done this for your convenience, we understand that you may want to seek out different accommodations. You are of course more than welcome to do this! We visited many Champaign-Urbana hotels while trying to decide where to get blocks of rooms, and we did not have a problem with any of the hotels we visited. The three listed below are our favorites that cover the widest amount of needs. Additionally, there will be a shuttle between the reception hall and The Residence Inn. The Residence Inn is located in a shopping district in Champaign called "Marketplace" near many other hotels. If you choose to stay in a hotel outside of our block but within Marketplace, feel free to take the shuttle to/from The Residence Inn. We also may get a shuttle to Comfort Inn & Suites, but that has not been finalized yet.

Comfort Suites

The Comfort Suites is universally reviewed on travel websites as the #1 hotel in Champaign-Urbana. It offers recently renovated rooms at a modest price-point right off the highway in Northern Urbana. Pros: - Rated #1 by many travel sites - Near highway - Modest price - Free continental breakfast Cons: - Isolated from restaurants/attractions - Most baseline hotel

Residence Inn

The Residence Inn is our wedding block option for our guests who require a full kitchen or suite-style accommodations during their stay in Champaign-Urbana. Located in the "Marketplace" shopping district, it's near plenty of restaurants and stores! Pros: - Full kitchen - Located near many restaurants/stores/other hotels in Marketplace - Free breakfast Cons: - Limited room options (just 1 bedroom king and studio king, although you CAN get adjoining rooms to accommodate a larger family) - Difficult to walk to any of the close restaurants/stores due to traffic

Hyatt Place

We do not have a block here, but we also want to give our recommendation here for a hotel in Champaign-Urbana! Hyatt Place is located right in the heart of downtown Champaign, close to all the nightlife that Champaign has to offer. Pros: - Located right in downtown Champaign - Modern, trendy accommodations - Most luxurious hotel Cons: - Continental breakfast is only for Hyatt members - Slightly more difficult to drive/park to (parking is in a garage underneath the hotel)
