FAQs

Question

Aren't you already married?

Answer

Yes! We got married on March 24, 2022. It was an intimate ceremony with just our parents and two dear family friends in attendance, one of which officiated! Call our 2023 event what you want - a wedding, a reception, a vow renewal, a celebration of love - we're just excited to celebrate with you all!

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the majority of our wedding ceremony & reception will be outdoors. A few tables will be in an indoor room, which has large doors opening to an outdoor patio, where the remainder of guests will be seated.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We'd love to celebrate with you and your kids.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The Denver area is typically dry and hot in July, with highs usually in the low 90s, but temperatures falling significantly after sunset. The area's high altitude can make the sun feel more intense, so bring sunscreen, drink lots of water, and dress in layers to be most comfortable.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire! Our ceremony will be held on a grassy lawn, so please keep that in mind when making shoe selections!

Question

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We will set up shuttle service between our hotel blocks and our ceremony & reception venue. Please visit the "Travel" section of this website for more details!

Question

What about Covid-19?

Answer

We will do all that we can to create a safe environment for our celebration, including planning a ceremony and reception that largely take place outdoors (weather permitting) and providing hand sanitizer. Please don't hesitate to wear a mask should you feel most comfortable doing so. Additionally, if you feel sick as the event approaches, we ask that you test accordingly and know that we will find time to celebrate together in the future! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Question

What about elevation and altitude sickness?

Answer

Most of you have heard Denver called the "Mile High City", and the difference in altitude may truly affect you while you are here. Due to altitude and Colorado's dry climate, it's recommended that you drink twice as much water leading up to your trip and while you're here than you do normally. Alcohol will affect you much more quickly, and the effects of exercise will feel much more intense. If you usually run 4 miles at home, try 2 in the greater Denver area.
