We will be getting married at Ashridge House in Berkhamsted, a historical castle from the 16th century, home to King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I, and an hour outside of London. The reception will also be held at Ashridge House along with accommodations.
Dress Code: Black Tie Optional We would love for everyone to dress up and celebrate in style! For men, tux or suit and tie and for women, formal gowns or cocktail dress are perfect. Think elegant and festive.
Yes - the ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be indoors. All will take place on the Ashridge House property.
We love your kids, however, this is an adults-only wedding. We want our wedding to be your night off! If you are planning to travel with your little ones, please let us know and we can help you find a sitter for the wedding night.
Sadly we are unable to accommodate additional guests who did not receive a formal invitation. We look forward to celebrating with you on the day!
We recommend taking a cab, uber, or train. For more details on the train, check the Travel page. A rental car isn’t necessary unless you plan to explore the area on your own. The hotel, welcome dinner, and ceremony/reception is all on property, so once you're there, you're set.
Yes! We will be staying on property at Ashridge House for the wedding weekend. We'd love for you to join us there if you'd like — we have reserved a block of rooms at a special rate. Booking information can be found on our "Travel" page!
If you prefer not to stay on property, Ashridge House is about a 10 minute drive from the town of Berkhamsted.
Yes! We will be hosting a Welcome Dinner at Ashridge House on Friday, June 12 which all are invited and we would love to spend time with you! Please check our "Schedule" page for all event details. Also, if you are interested in exploring London before the wedding, we will be planning group events. More information to come on the "Things To Do" page.
