Allie & Andrew

Allie and Shrock met in September 2016 at a group kayaking outing in DC organized by their mutual friend, Niko. However, Shrock barely even noticed Allie existed because another friend brought their corgi, Tucker, along for the trip. After a year of Ohio State game watches and numerous parties planned by Allie, they began officially dating just before Shrock left D.C. for graduate school. After years of dating long distance, two international vacations, and spending part of the pandemic quarantined together in Bethany Beach, Shrock and his dog, Lucy, moved to Arlington, VA with Allie and her cat, Shadow, in June of 2020. 

On November 26, 2020, overlooking the water in the neighborhood Allie grew up in, Shrock proposed. 

We are so lucky to be surrounded and supported by the best family and friends and can't wait to celebrate with everyone in Portugal!
