Maid of Honor
I met Sarah when she was chosen as libero over me on our high school travel volleyball team. Since then I have gotten over this, and now she is my best friend! We've made it through college, living together for 3 years post-grad, and long distance in this friendship, so I think we will last forever. She is also Winston's (my cat) godmother, so I really can't get rid of her.
Best Man
Nico is one of those friendships that you don't remember how or when you met but are still best friends. I grew up in Kentucky with Nico, and at this point he's like family.
Bridesmaid
I met Madison my first day of college, and since then she has been obsessed with me. Who wouldn't be?! She was my big in my sorority (no need to discuss that phase of our lives), and has been like a big sister throughout the years with her advice, opinions, and wisdom.
Groomsman
Austin is also a government issued friend that became a brother to me. We bonded over the weekdays at Navy and especially the weekends away. We have always shared the same interests (except the long distance running), and I always look forward to the next time we get to catch up.
Bridesmaid
Caroline is my invisible string friend because we grew up in the same neighborhood our entire lives and didn't meet until my freshman year of college. She is one of the most intentional people I know and will really stand by you if you earn her trust. And for that, I am thankful I did.
Groomsman
David is one of those government issued friends from Navy that insantly became a best friend. We went through it in college and went through it again in flight school. David will always be like a big brother.
Bridesmaid
Emma was my roommate for two years in college and during those two years, I swear we had the same brain. She is a friend that stands the test of time, and everytime we are together again it feels as if no time has passed. She is my bridal inspiration because of how chill and laid back she was on her big day.
Groomsman
Kindle and I met in the locker room during flight school swim. He was talking to the international students about soccer, and I couldn’t help myself but get in the conversation. A few months later I finally get to go to a soccer pickup game and became good friends before finding out we’re coworkers too. After following Kindle to Washington State, we hang out almost every weekend trying to do all the outdoor stuff we can. It also should be illegal that the Navy let us be in the same squadron at VAQ-142.
Bridesmaid
Meghan is Ryan's little sister and easily the funniest person in the Martin family. She is spunky, hilarious, and caring. As someone without siblings, it has been so great to be welcomed into this family and gain her as a sister.
Groomsman
I moved schools in 6th grade and ended up in Gabe’s class. Don’t know how Gabe and I became friends since I was so shy, but I am so glad we did. We were best friends throughout middle and high school and continue to be. I always look forward to seeing him and catching up.
Bridesmaid
Nicole is Ryan's older sister. She is one of the most welcoming people I have ever met, and she made me feel comfortable the second I knew her. I feel so lucky to be gaining her as a sister as well.
Groomsman
Erik is a constant figure in my life. I look up to him as a friend and I always love to see what is new with his life. Even though we don’t see each other often since we live very busy lives, our friendship is untouched and goes back to usual whenever we do get to catch up.
