It all started in the Outer Banks on June 8, 2019. Two old souls crossed paths, exchanged a few Snaps, and-without realizing it-met the person they’d one day want to spend forever with. The summer of 2020 was filled with back-and-forth road trips and weeks spent doing all their favorite things together. Somewhere between late-night talks and weekend drives, they quickly became each other’s best friend. In the fall of 2020, Ryan moved to Georgia to start college. Allie was still finishing high school while also taking college courses with him. After she graduated from high school in 2021, they moved to Savannah together to attend Georgia Southern. Their senior year took them abroad to London and Paris where they made memories that will last a lifetime. By January 2022, they knew this was it. That same month, they adopted their black lab, Cash- named after the man in black himself, Johnny Cash. Whether it’s a walk on the greenway, brunch at Cracker Barrel, a picnic, or a cozy movie night on the couch with Cash, their favorite place has always been anywhere they’re together. In May 2024, they graduated college side by side- Ryan with a degree in Criminal Justice, and Allie in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Today, Ryan is in his second year with the Statesboro Police Department, and Allie is wrapping up her master’s as she prepares to begin her career as a speech-language pathologist. After seven years of shared adventures, quiet moments, and everything in between, they’ll say “I do” on Sunday, June 7, 2026- a perfect date for two people who’ve always had a Sunday kind of love.
