To kick off our weekend of festivities, come on down and join us at The Crown & Crow Pub for a very informal, very optional, very relaxed evening of drinks and karaoke! Sing your favorites! Sip on something refreshing! Food is not served but you're allowed to bring any outside food you want - just no outside drinks.

We will be serving some of our favorite DC-themed light bites and refreshments on the evening, but we will not be serving a full dinner so please enjoy a great meal in the city prior to coming!

Please join us on Saturday, July 3rd for an evening of music and storytelling! A Sangeet is traditionally where the party begins! The word Sangeet translates to ‘sung together’ from Sanskrit. Families from both sides come together at the Sangeet to sing traditional songs pertaining to the bride and groom. Relatives and friends of the bride and groom choreograph dance numbers to perform for the couple adding to the jubilation of the event. The song and dance portion of the Sangeet is a social bond connecting the two families to each other and to the bride and groom. Ours will be a little less structured and a little more free-flowing than a very traditional or conservative Sangeet, but we hope you will join us for a relaxed evening of entertainment and socializing! Dinner will be served at 6:00pm.

Oh, and after the sun fully sets, you can catch many of the area's fireworks shows from the terrace of District Winery! Ceremony - 6:00pm Cocktails - 6:30pm Dinner & Dancing - 7:00pm DC Skyline Fireworks - ~9pm
