Our favorite spot! Enjoy the Pink Pony's famous Rum Runner on their patio with live music and views of the harbor.
The Original Murdick's Fudge
Visit Michael's family's fudge store! The first fudge store on Mackinac Island. Our fudge, brittle and other specialty sweets are crafted by hand with all natural ingredients all sourced in Michigan. Going to the store to watch the fudge made by hand (the only store on the island that still makes it the old fashioned way) is pretty fun.
BIKE RENTALS
Another great way to see the island! Rent a bike from one of the many bike rental locations downtown Mackinac- Mackinac Wheels and Bike Barn just to name a couple. Grab a map and hit the trails or take the shore road all the way around the island.

THE ORIGINAL MACKINAC ISLAND BUTTERFLY HOUSE
With hundreds of butterflies, the Butterfly House is the first of its kind in Michigan and the 3rd oldest in the US. Walk through the garden to experience butterflies from all over the world.
MACKINAC ISLAND CARRIAGE TOURS
A fun way to see the island! Hop on a carriage for a guided tour of some of the best Mackinac has to offer. There are public tours leaving from Main Street frequently or you can book a private carriage online for a very special experience for small groups.
WAWASHKAMO GOLF CLUB
The Wawashkamo Golf Club is a nine-hole links golf course laid out in 1898! Rent some hickory sticks if you want the full experience!
GRAND HOTEL
Visit the Grand Hotel for a spectacular view on the world's longest porch, overlooking the Straits of Mackinac! Enjoy a drink at one of their many bars, take a stroll through the historic hotel or take a dip in their famous swimming pool.
BRITISH LANDING
British Landing is a spot exactly half way around the island. A perfect place to stop for a dip in the lake or one of the Cannonball's famous fried pickles.
ARCH ROCK
Fun stop on a bike ride or short hike for island explorers.
FORT MACKINAC
Fort Michilimackinac was an 18th-century French, and later British, fort and trading post at the Straits of Mackinac. Great views!
