Aufruf at WHC Shabbat An aufruf ("calling up" in Yiddish) is a wedding blessing ceremony that takes place the Shabbat before a wedding. The rabbi will say a blessing, and you will take part in throwing candy at us! (And/or running up to grab some yourself after it's thrown. Your choice!)
