The Mighty Argo Cable Car is set to open on April 24th. We haven't gotten the chance to ride it and enjoy the top yet, but we both did news stories on its opening and cannot wait. It's our understanding you can get a ticket to tour the mill and ride the cable car to the top where there is a bar and restaurant, amphitheater and some of the most remarkable Colorado views. If you're driving, Idaho Springs is on your way to Breckenridge.
Take a stroll through downtown! You can shop big brands or local. We recommend stopping for a bite or drink at Whiskey Star, Blue Stag Saloon or Eric’s.
Enjoy a free Gondola ride among the mountains! We love T-Bar at the base of Peak 8.
The Jennerjahn's favorite brunch spot! Lots of options and great cocktails for any time of day.
Our favorite place for take out! The best Mexican food we've found with yummy to-go margaritas, too.
Allie has done this with her Syracuse girls and they loved it! Grandma Jennerjahn and her friends did it, too. The views are fabulous and the bike ride is an easy/moderate work out. You can rent bikes in Frisco, hop on a shuttle that takes you to the top of Vail Pass and then bike back to Frisco.
Frisco is about a 20 minute drive from Breckenridge. It's a cute mountain town with local bars and restaurants. There's also a bike trail to and from Breck and Frisco that makes for a fun, full day.
