Wedding Party

Meet some of our favorite people!

Tori Weissleder

Maid of Honor

My sissy... who else would I have standing right next to me while I say my I-do's?? Tori has been my biggest cheerleader and fiercest ally since day one, and lately she has been my wedding-planning buddy as we plan our big days together! Tori is hard-working, funny, a great baker, and a professional gluten detective. I am so lucky to have her as my little sister, Maid of Honor, and best friend for life!

Stephen Lewis

Best Man

Ever since Stephen and his family moved into my neighborhood, we have been the closest of friends. From getting locked in his parent's garage and having to break a window to get out, to hiking the grand canyon and nearly dying, Steve and I have always been causing trouble. Although we don't live as close anymore, we still make an effort to keep up with each other's busy lives. Steve has settled down and has an awesome Wife and two adorable babies, and we love spending time with them. It was an honor to be one of Steve's best men at his wedding, and I'm thrilled that he was willing to return the favor.

April Woltersdorf

Bridesmaid

I'm so thankful that April came into my life through church when we were in middle school. April and I have been through all the awkward phases of adolescence and young-adulthood together and she has been the most steadfast, loyal, hilarious, and always fun friend a girl could ask for. Fun fact: April and I lived together for a short time while I was living in my parent's basement and April was between apartments! There is really no one else I would rather have staying on my couch and to this day, she knows she always has an open invitation. April is our favorite date-night buddy, a fellow plant and candle lover, Queen fanatic, dedicated music teacher, and talented vocalist (keep an ear out on the big day!). We love you, Apey!

Stephen Ginter

Groomsman

My oldest brother. The second tallest. Growing up, I always looked up to him (until about the 8th grade!) as a role-model. I frequently took Stephen's hand-me-down clothes and sometimes went into his closet to "borrow" some without permission. I watched Stephen grow throughout his military career and time in the FDNY, and now as a loving husband and father of two. Stephen's love of family and his selfless nature made him a wonderful role-model to grow up with.

Janet Goodman

Bridesmaid

Janet, Tori and I lovingly refer to each other as "sister-cousins" and it is so true. Growing up, Janet was like a big sis and role-model to me, and I followed her example as she walked through life. Janet is incredibly kind, smart, loving, and thoughtful. She loves Harry Potter just as much as I do, she gave me my first espresso martini, and made me an Auntie for the first time - what's not to love?!

Sean Ginter

Groomsman

My middle brother. The third tallest. Sean enjoys travelling the world and I have been lucky enough to join him on one or two trips. Sean taught me how to surf while stationed in San Diego with the USMC, and the three of us (Kevin, Sean, Stephen) drove around the southwest US visiting Las Vegas (wild time), the Hoover Dam, and finished the trip with an exhilarating hike down and up the Grand Canyon in one day (not recommended!). Sean has passed down a lot of hiking and camping knowledge which has solidified my love of the great outdoors.

Sarah Lewandowski

Bridesmaid

My soul-sister Sarah Lew.... we met through a mutual friend and thanks to fate, ended up becoming roommates half-way through college...and thank goodness. Our room became known as the commune, due to the amount of people who were always staying in it, including our now/soon-to-be husbands. Sarah is a bright light in this world and shares her gifts in many ways, including through her art (check her out on Insta @sarahlewstudio!), activism, and yoga practice. I am so happy that I get to walk through life with a friend like Sarah, even if she is all the way in Minnesota.

Mike Buttgereit

Groomsman

I met Mike at the beginning of Junior year at Adelphi. He was only a freshman then (making him the baby of the group - forever) and he immediately set his sights on another teammate, Sarah Lew (see bridesmaid's section). Their relationship quickly blossomed and by the time Allie and Sarah became roommates the next semester, the four of us were inseparable. When Mike, a fellow teacher, landed his first teaching job out in Minnesota where Sarah lived, we thought our double-dates were over. BUT, thanks in part to COVID, we now have almost monthly virtual cooking nights with Mike and Sarah, where Mike (future Top Chef) prepares a menu for us and walks us through step by step while we all drink and chat. We are so lucky to have a friend like Mike.

Courtney Lane

Bridesmaid

Courtney and I first bonded over the fact that we are often mistaken for each other at work. I dragged her along to the nurse's union convention one year and we have been buds ever since. We share a love for craft beer, hiking, kayaking, yoga, and dogs (and yes, of course nursing). Courtney is extraordinarily caring and goes above and beyond for her family, friends, and patients. I wouldn't survive the nurse-life without this special human!

Matt Catera

Groomsman

I met Matt way back in Freshman year of high school at Molloy and we have been best buds since. Matt is a firefighter for the FDNY and may actually be a contender for the nicest person in the world. Matt and I bonded over countless track and field practices and meets, video games, and our love of sports. We have been on a bunch of fun trips together including cruises, Florida road trips,

Kim Rogler

Bridesmaid

Kimmy and I became friends through church in elementary school, and later best friends when we went to the same middle school. Kim used to come over every Friday after school for home-made pizza and shenanigans. We have been to at least 8 cities in Europe together, thanks to our church choir tours (Kim can sing, I just pretend) as well as many camping trips and family vacations. Kim graduated from the Culinary Institute and has been traversing the country, blessing people with her superb baking and pastry skills. She's now home (as least in the northeast) and I am so very glad that she can be around to share this special time with me!

Pete Kramer

Groomsman

Pete and I have been best friends since one of our first days at Molloy. Pete and his brother Zach were in a band together and playing at a venue where Sean and his band were playing as well. I didn't know Pete too well at the time but I had a feeling he was a pretty cool guy. So I sat next to him on the first day of freshman Spanish class and the rest is history. Pete (and Matt) and I all joined the track team and bonded during afternoon practices and weekend track meets. I spent countless days and nights at the Kramer house, and his family has always made me feel like one of their own. Pete is always out there trying to make a difference in the world, and I'm honored to call him my friend.

Jenn Ginter

Bridesmaid

Ever since I met Jenn, she has always treated me like family, even though I wasn't yet. Jenn, simply put, is a rockstar, and a woman of many talents. She is a super-hard worker, a wife, a mama to two awesome kiddos (our ring-bearer and littlest flower girl!), as well as a super talented baker AND she always seems to have her hair and makeup done. Goals, am I right? Jenn is someone you want in your corner, and I'm so glad she's in mine, especially now that we're going to be Ginter-in-laws! (See what I did there?)

Matt Rudolph

Groomsman

Matt is one of my first-cousins, and a best friend since birth. Some of our family used to say that we share a brain and there is definitely some truth to that! Matt and I were always getting into trouble together, and probably always will. Matt is a fun-loving, family guy, with a big heart. It's been a blast growing up with him and I am glad I have his friendship now as we try to be adults and navigate life.

Lucas Mietlowski

Bridesman

Lucas and I met at church camp many moons ago... but when I walked into the cafeteria during my first week of college and saw him (and his Dad - our officient!) sitting at a table, it was the start of a whole new friendship. Lucas helped me survive my first years of college, filled with home-sickness, bad break-ups. and general nursing school stress. Lucas and I were inseparable, often times so in-sync that people assumed we were dating (LOL). Lucas used to host weekly wednesday movie-nights, where he would show movies that, in his opinion, were classics that he could not believe I hadn't seen. Some were wins (can't believe I never saw Hook before) and some were misses (I'm looking at you, Fifth Element).

Eddie Schwarz

Groomsman

Eddie and I have been friends practically since birth, considering our fathers are best friends and we were born about a year apart. Eddie used to live in Queens and we would spend countless hours playing in Eddie's backyard with the neighborhood kids. As we got older and were brought along on our parents vacations (like New Years at Daniel's), we would sneak off with some of their liquor, thinking we were real cool. Now that he lives in Pennsylvania with his wife and adorable boys (my Godsons) our get-togethers are more often Facetime and phone calls, but I'm so glad that Eddie and his family are still in my life to this day.

Michael Johnson

Groomsman

Ever since we first met Mike, he and I hit it off. Mike is marrying Allie's sister Tori, making him my future brother-in-law. Mike is a hard worker but always brings the party. Even though Mike is a Marlin's fan (ugh) we always enjoy talking baseball and trash-talking each other's teams. I'm really glad Mike is going to be my brother-in-law and my groomsman.

Ryan Sobeck

Groomsman

Ryan and I met freshman year at Adelphi on the ultimate frisbee team. Ryan used to sneak me into the Honor's College (where I was not a part of) to take naps on the comfy couches between classes and practice. I did this so often that other honors college students started to think I actually belonged there. Ryan and I lead the frisbee team together for a few years and we could almost read each other's minds on the field. Ryan is super smart, he loves board games and D&D, and his cat, Cooper. A couple years back I was with Ryan when he married his now wife, Lisa (another frisbee team romance) and I'm honored that he's going to stand with me on my wedding day.
