Are kids invited to the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones dearly, our wedding will be for guests 14 and up (with the exception of our flower girls and ring-bearer). Thank you for your understanding!

Will a shuttle service be provided?

Answer

Yes! Please RSVP (via the RSVP tab on this website) if you plan on using the shuttle service to get back-and-forth from the hotel and the venue. This is will allow us to plan the number of shuttles needed, and number of trips needed. The number of guests taking the shuttle may affect the departure times for the shuttle so your response is greatly appreciated :) **At this time, the conservative estimate from the transportation company is that the shuttles will depart the Hampton Inn & Suites at 3:15 pm. Please note that check-in time for the Hampton Inn is 3 pm. We understand that this is not very much turn-around time so please plan accordingly, either by requesting early check-in (no, WE cannot request early check-in for the entire block, we tried), or by arriving already dressed and wedding-ready. Please check back for updates as time gets closer, as things may have changed!

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

We are planning on an outdoor ceremony and an indoor reception. Pay close attention to the weather and dress accordingly to spend time outside on a late-April day in the Pocono Mountains. Bringing a shawl or jacket would be a great idea!

What do I do if the hotel room block is booked?

Answer

Space is limited in the room block, and unfortunately Hampton Inn has not given us the option to extend due to another wedding block in the same weekend. You may however be able to book a room outside of the block, or at another area hotel. The Fairfield Inn is right across the street, and is linked in the Travel section of our website.

Do I need to be vaccinated in order to come to your wedding?

Answer

Being fully vaccinated prior to attending a wedding or any large social gathering is something we HIGHLY recommend. While (at this time) our venue does not require any proof of vaccination to attend, it is our personal request that our guests be vaccinated. If that is not possible, we ask that you get a COVID test or have your antibodies checked, or wear a mask when you are within 6 feet of others. *At this time* we will not be asking for any proof, we just hope that you will do that for us.
