Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by Monday January 22, 2024 Please book your hotel by Friday February 9, 2024

Question

Which hotel should I stay at?

Answer

It's entirely your choice! Boulder has a ton of options to accomodate different preferences. We only ask that you indicate in your RSVP if you intend to take the shuttle from the Boulder Marriott to the wedding! BOULDER MARRIOTT: - More walkable to downtown boulder (~20 min walk) - Wedding shuttle pickup/drop-off - Wedding after party at the hotel bar - Parking is $20/night - Rates start at $189/night If for some reason the rate is not available, please let us know and we can try to get more rooms!

Question

When should I book my hotel by?

Answer

Even if you're still shopping for flights please book your hotel rooms early! Marriott has a generous cancellation policy and it'll help us make sure everyone can be accommodated for their trips! Please book by February 2, 2024 so we can have an accurate count! If you try to book and don't see any rooms left at our rates, please reach out and we can work with the hotel to add more!

Question

What can I do to prepare for the elevation?

Answer

Boulder sits at just over 5,300 feet in elevation and can impact some people more than others. We recommend hydrating well BEFORE your journey to Colorado (drink water, electrolyte drinks) and staying hydrated throughout your visit. Alcohol can also have a stronger effect at high elevations. Make sure to hydrate and opt for an Uber if the Colorado buzz sneaks up on you! Remember, one drink at elevation equals two drinks at sea level! Ease into any big adventures (skiing, hiking, etc.) if you're planning to recreate during your visit You can also extend your trip and arrive a couple days early to give yourself time to acclimate

Question

Do I have to take the shuttle to the wedding?

Answer

Nope! The shuttle bus is entirely optional and is intended to ensure we don't have any drinking and driving from the wedding. You are welcome to take an Uber to & from the wedding if you'd prefer. You can also drive to the wedding site - plenty of onsite parking! Any cars left overnight must be retrieved by 10am Sunday morning

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome to join. We encourage folks to have a good time and relax - whatever that looks like is up to you! If you do decide to bring the kiddos along, please indicate in your RSVP and keep an eye on them with the frozen creek nearby :)
