Jeremiah and Allie met 5 years ago while attending the University of Minnesota Duluth, so Duluth has always been a special place for us. In April 2022 Allie planned a surprise birthday trip to Duluth for Jeremiah, however, Jeremiah was actually using this as a cover to plan the engagement. With the help of Allie's sister Maddie (Maid of Honor) and her husband Nick (Best Man), Jeremiah proposed at one of our favorite beaches that we frequently visited during our time in school. We spent the rest of the weekend celebrating in Duluth, and our families came up on our last day there to surprise us with an engagement brunch.
