IslandWood is an environmental education nonprofit serving the Puget Sound region, and it will be our home base for all wedding related events! Our group will have exclusive use of the campus during the wedding weekend. Guests who choose to stay at IslandWood will be divided into 4 different lodges. All rooms in the lodges have comfortable beds and a private bathroom. Rooms come in a variety of arrangements, with most rooms containing a queen bed and 2 bunks (bottom bunks are full size). Each lodge has a shared common space. The lodges and rooms don't have TVs but there is WiFi and decent cell service on campus. For guests choosing to stay at IslandWood Friday - Sunday, all meals will be provided in the IslandWood dining hall. You can book rooms at IslandWood by visiting the "View" link below, which will take you to an Eventbrite site for booking. Rooms will be $240 / night for the first 2 occupants, and $60/night for each additional adult ($40 for kids ages 3 - 12), as long as you use the code SW20.

Travel Note
Bainbridge Island is just that - an island primarily accessible by ferry from downtown Seattle. It's a quintessential PNW experience to ride the ferry (and if you're a Grey's Anatomy fan, a way to cosplay as McDreamy for 35 minutes) and if the weather is good, you can get views of Mt Rainier. Click "View" below to view the ferry schedule. The ferry can get quite busy in the summer so if you're planning to drive on, you may want to plan a few ferries ahead of the one you absolutely need to be on. There's lots to do on Bainbridge so even if you do arrive early you should be able to keep yourself occupied. The ferry leaves downtown Seattle about once an hour and it's first come first served (i.e you can't make advance reservations). The ride on the ferry itself is about 35 minutes long, and you can either drive on or walk on. It's much easier to get a spot if you walk on, and we'll make sure you've got transportation from the ferry to IslandWood if you'd prefer not to have to rent a car! Note that it is also possible to drive from Seattle to Bainbridge Island without taking the ferry, which is a bit over 2 hours. We'd recommend leaving for the island with enough time to drive around in case of any unforseen ferry issues.
Travel Note
For the convenience of those without cars, we'll be providing shuttles from the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal to IslandWood on Friday and Saturday, coordinated with the ferry arrival times. Should you arrive on the island earlier and want to explore, you can still meet up at the ferry terminal for the shuttle. As we get closer, we'll be asking you more about your travel plans for better shuttle planning purposes. We'll also provide shuttles from IslandWood to the ferry terminal on Saturday evening and Sunday morning as needed based on your travel itineraries.
