Langtry Farms Winery is, of course, where we’ll be celebrating our wedding! The tasting room will be open to guests from Thursday through Sunday, so if you’re planning to do just one tasting during the weekend, this is our top recommendation and we'd love for you to stop by.

If you’re staying in the Middletown area, there are plenty of nearby hikes and nature walks to enjoy the beautiful scenery. You’ll also find a few local tasting rooms if you’re in the mood for a casual winery visit between events—perfect for a laid-back afternoon with great views and even better wine. Our Favorite Spots: Wild Diamond Winery - small winery with beautiful panoramic views and great Spanish-style wines Six Sigma Ranch & Winery - rustic winery with trails for biking and hiking Clear Lake State Park - great for hiking, kayaking, and lake activities

If you're up for a short drive over the hill, Calistoga is just 35–40 minutes away and full of charm. You'll find tons of tasting rooms, shops, great restaurants, and a walkable downtown that's perfect for an afternoon of exploring. Our Favorite Spots: Walking Downtown Calistoga - Quaint shops, art galleries, and tasting rooms along Lincoln Avenue Calistoga Depot - A newly restored historic train depot featuring local shops, a market, and a lively bar and restaurant Palisades Trailhead – A scenic local hike with sweeping valley views

Just past Calistoga, you’ll find the charming town of Saint Helena—perfect for a day of exploring. Its walkable downtown is filled with boutique shops, art galleries, and some of Napa Valley’s best restaurants. It’s also home to many well-known wineries, making it an ideal stop for wine tasting and strolling. Our Favorite Spots: Farmstead – A great farm-to-table restaurant, also offering tastings of Long Meadow Ranch wines. Model Bakery – A Napa staple, famous for its English muffins (a must-try). Pro tip: stop by Woodhouse Chocolate just a few doors down. If you’re looking for estate winery tastings, this is the place. Reservations are recommended, especially during busy season. Some of our favorites include Rudd Estate, B Cellars, Alpha Omega, and V. Sattui—but you really can’t go wrong anywhere in the area.
