Growing up, Allie often visited Peddler's Village with her family. The destination is known for their elaborate seasonal festivities and their charming brick pathways. We love strolling the through Peddlers Village in the summer but definitely recommend coming back for Fall and the Holiday season to see it at its finest
While Philadelphia is widely known as the Birthplace of our Nation, Bucks County also offers a wide array of history with numerous Revolutionary War Era sites and attractions. We suggest visiting Washington Crossing Historic Park. The park preserves the site where George Washington and his troops crossed the Delaware River and turned the tide of the Revolutionary War. We enjoyed experiencing the river crossing reenactment this past Christmas with Allie's grandparents
If you know Allie... you know she loves a bargain! And Rice's Market is a place to find incredible deals! For over 150 years, Rice’s Market has been a New Hope community staple. It is 30 acres of indoor and outdoor shopping, making it the oldest and largest flea market in Bucks County. It is a flea market, farmer’s market, antique bazaar, vintage thrift, town gathering space, and food lover’s delight wrapped into one. The market features hundreds of well known antique dealers, community artists, beauty consultants, clothing boutiques, local farmers, and more. Open Saturday: 7:00am - 1:00pm
For our theater junkies, you won't want to miss the local production of Grease at the Bucks County Playhouse. Consider booking tickets for Friday night, or the matinee on Saturday or Sunday
A few years ago, we enjoyed showing the town of New Hope to our friend Tori and spent the day biking along the towpath. The trail follows the Delaware River and offers opportunities to cross over from Pennsylvania to New Jersey. Along the way, you will discover absolutely beautiful houses, cute ice cream shops, and scenic views
