Barton Springs Municipal Pool
A true gem of Austin that never disappoints. The three-acre swimming pool is fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees. *Food is not permitted, but many restaurants are nearby. Closed for cleaning on Thursdays.
Brazos Trading Co
An old Austin gem filled with affordable second-hand cowboy boots and accessories! Open 11-3 daily and run by Charlie, the sweetest man alive.
Bullock Texas State History Museum
This is where Alli *finally* learned about The Alamo (and you can, too)!
Cipollina Italian Bistro
Cute little Italian spot for a cozy dinner.
The Driskill Bar
A great place to grab drinks and bar snacks downtown, complete with all the Texas vibes. This bar is inside the historic Driskill Hotel, which is free to explore.

Lady Bird Lake Hike & Bike Trail
We have many lovely memories of visiting the trail together, including our engagement! It's a perfect, low-key way to see Austin and get some miles in. There are many ways to get to the trail, but we prefer to start on the Pfluger pedestrian bridge.
