“Find someone who is an adventure and a home all in one”

In June of 2022, our adventure truly began. After just a few months of getting to know each other, we moved across the country. Pittsburgh PA > Longmont CO. We threw caution to the wind and chased what felt right and that has been a core theme of our relationship. A few days after we arrived, we spent the 4th of July with Brenden in Twin Lakes, just outside of Leadville CO. Alpine lakes, Rocky Mountains, fireworks, sparklers and a double rainbow solidified our decision. On our 3-hour ride home, we also solidified that our relationship began. Yea you read that right... we weren't "officially together" before we left home. Sink or swim ya know? Best way to find out if we could live with each other was to, well, live with each other! Over the last two years we have done a whole lot of living. We have gone sky diving, went Rocky Mountain climbing, (no bull riding yet), traveled to 6 different countries, hiked a volcano, swam in bioluminescence, FaceTimed our loved ones, explored national parks and most importantly, expanded our love. We quickly learned how to navigate hard days and tough times. We lost people we love dearly and embraced change together. Our foundation was strong, and we continued to build our home with each other. As we navigated the peaks and valleys of our young relationship, the one thing that sustained us was our relentless pursuit for growth, both within ourselves and within our relationship. Through learning, unlearning, and acceptance we will endure all this life has to offer. Now just under two years later, we found ourselves back where is all started, in that same town of Twin Lakes just outside of Leadville CO. With the alpine lake and the twin peaks in the background she said yes to marrying me, surrounded by some of the people that we love the most. A magical moment that will live on with us forever. We are unbelievably grateful for all those who will be able to join us in October and for all those who can't be with us. We love you all.
