Idaho Springs
Restaurants/Breweries: West Down and Bound (also a brewery) Things to Do: Hike St. Mary's Glacier or Chief Mountain Trail, bop around the downtown to some fun shops
Boulder
Restaurants: Mountain Sun Pub (cash only but has an ATM) Breweries: Sanitas Brewery Things to Do: Hike the Flat Irons (search Chautauqua Park)
Rocky Mountain National Park
Hikes: Sprague Lake Loop (if you go before the park opens, you don't need a pass - great for sunrise), Emerald Lake Other Things to Do: Drive Trail Ridge Road to see beautiful views - we saw the most amazing rainbow here, visit the Stanley Hotel where scenes from Dumb and Dumber were filmed and where Stephen King was inspired to write The Shining - recommend a historical tour or a cocktail overlooking the beautiful property
