We met in 2014 while working together at Nevada Donor Network. Adam was a recovery tech on the Tissue Services team and Kelli was a coordinator on the Community Services team. She was immediately drawn to Adam’s lightning fast, sarcastic humor. He couldn't get enough of Kelli's rebel spirit and kind heart. We quickly became inseparable. We spent hours talking and spending time together at one of our favorite spots - Downtown Cocktail Room. We kept a low profile for awhile, until Kelli accidentally showed up to an all staff meeting holding a Starbucks coffee with Adam’s name written on it.

Our sweet Rylee Cecilia James enters the world and makes us a family of 3.

We alternate between spending holidays in Texas and Oregon. For Christmas of 2017, we traveled to Salem, Oregon to be with Kelli's family. On Christmas morning after all the presents were opened, Adam and one-year-old Rylee brought Kelli one more gift from under the tree. Inside a beautiful mirrored jewelry box, she found a sparkling ring placed beside a photo frame ornament with Rylee’s picture inside. Before Adam could even finish asking the question, Kelli shouted "YES!" through shocked tears. Adam broke out the champagne to celebrate with Kelli’s parents, brothers, sister-in-law, niece, and nephews (who were all in on the surprise). Our extra long engagement has given us plenty of time to plan our PERFECT day.

After more than six years in Vegas and surviving a global pandemic together, we picked up and moved to Dallas, Texas at the end of 2020. It has been nothing short of an adventure, and the fun is just beginning!
