Question

Where do I go when I get there?

Answer

All events will be held at the Hotel at Maryland Live in the banquet hall. There is a self parking across the street from the hotel next to Costco as well as valet parking at the hotel. If you park in the garage, you can take the elevator to the hotel or casino. For the most direct route, you want to go down the elevator to the hotel and event center. If you come to the casino, you will walk through and follow the signs to the hotel. When you arrive at the hotel, there will be signs guiding you to our event.

Is there parking available at the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes! There is complimentary garage parking at Maryland Live.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm. Please arrive and be seated no later than 6:15, late guests will not be seated.

Will the events be indoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be indoors.

What happens if it snows?

Answer

Bring your snow boots! Snow is not stopping us from getting married! We understand that there is a risk of snow in January, but unless there is a blizzard, we will still be celebrating. If we expect extreme inclement weather we will make an update on our website.

What should I wear, what is the dress code?

Answer

We want to see you dress to impress! We are excited to have a formal dress code for our ceremony and reception. Please avoid wearing any white, off white, or cream colored dresses and suits. Champagne is acceptable.

Are my kids invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time, and are grateful that you can come and celebrate with us!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We want to share this moment with our nearest and dearest. We are only able to accommodate those guests that are listed on the invitation. If you received a plus one, they would appear under your name when you RSVP.

I have dietary restrictions/allergies. What's the best way to let you know?

Answer

We want to make sure all of our guests are able to eat and drink with us. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions please let us know and we will make the necessary accomodations.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We ask that you put all phones away and turn them off during the ceremony. We have hired professionals to capture this moment and we do not want any personal phones blocking that moment for us. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want! We promise to share the photos from the ceremony with you when we receive them.

How will you communicate any updated information and/or changes before the wedding?

If there are any major changes or updates to the wedding we will communicate through our website. Please check back here if you have any questions.
