Yes! The Majestic has their own lot, and there’s lots of nearby street parking.
The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. We suggest arriving at 3:00pm so you can comfortably park, find your seat, and settle in.
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away and on silent/turned off during the ceremony. Why? Well, we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments of our lives, and we'd hate to have a well-meaning person's phone/device blocking that moment for him to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want! And we promise to share the ceremony photos as soon as we get them.
Be a little more spiffy than usual if you wish, but please, dress comfortably :)
We request that any additional desired guests not addressed on the invitation envelope are confirmed with the bride or groom prior to the wedding date.
Absolutely! We love kiddos. We do request that any children and other guests not originally addressed on the invitation be verified with the bride or groom prior to the wedding day.
Please do! There is a place to do this when you RSVP through this website (see the RSVP tab above). Our caterer can easily accommodate vegetarian and gluten-free diets with advanced notice.
We have a cash donation registry on Zola if you would like to contribute to our honeymoon or our "first house fund". Otherwise, we are registered on Amazon. Click the "registry" link to access both. Tip: type “Fortin” into the Amazon registry search for quicker access than “Roberts” :)
We'll provide an open bar with on-tap beer, sparkling wine cocktails, and a selection of red & white wines (as well as multiple non-alcoholic options). We only ask that you please tip your bartender!
The farewell will take place at 10:00pm.
Our #1 priority is having our guests avoid unsafe situations. In having an open bar, we ask that you please know your limits. However, mistakes happen! Luckily, The Majestic is located in central downtown Bellingham, with plenty of Lyft drivers and cabs on standby. Please see a member of the wedding party to bum some cash if you need to—we’ll have a dedicated “get home safe” fund and want you to use it!
