Father of the Bride
Mother of the Groom
Best Man
Allen's dad, former soccer coach, tailgate buddy and The Atlanta United Section 233 Godfather.
Matron of Honor
Carrie and Caitlin met working at WKYC Channel 3 in Cleveland. It was NOT friendship at first sight. Carrie thought Caitlin was "too quiet" and they'd never be friends. But working on weekend nights together, that quickly changed and they were inseparable, often mistaken for sisters. Even after Caitlin moved away to New York City, their friendship remained the same. Caitlin was honored to stand next to Carrie at her wedding in 2021, just a week after Caitlin moved to Atlanta, and just a few weeks before she met her own husband-to-be.
Bridesmaid
Cheryl and Caitlin met working at WABC Channel 7 in New York City. They bonded over gluten free food, steak dinners and good bottles of wine. Some of Caitlin's favorite memories of NYC were doing to trying out different steakhouses with Cheryl and taking about life. And also Cheryl convincing Caitlin to jump in the car with her on Friday night and come spend the weekend at the Becker's house in Queens (with trips to Long Island). When Cheryl's not trying to convince Caitlin to move back to NYC, she is always available to give great advice, support, and just be a listening ear.
Bridesmaid
Lauren and Caitlin became friends working on the 4pm show at WABC in New York City. While a great producing team at work, they became even greater friends outside of work. Only living a few blocks away from each other will do that. They would often take walks in Central Park, or get dinner at one of their favorite restaurants on the Upper West Side. During the pandemic, Lauren's apartment became a second home, as they endured lockdown and NYC completely closed up.
Bridesmaid
Meg and Caitlin met at grad school at Fordham University in Manhattan. As Meg tells it, she stalked Caitlin into being friends. But the truth is, from the first happy hours and meet and greets, they both had a gut feeling they were meant to be friends. A few months later, they became roommates, living in a converted 3 bedroom apartment in Hell's Kitchen, that had some "interesting" features. After they moved out, they only lived one express stop away from each other and often would get together for dinner at Meg's apartment or would shut down their favorite neighborhood spot Bella Luna with their friend Rachael.
Bridesmaid
Monica is Allen's cousin. They've done half Ironman triathlons and traveled to many places together. Monica is the reason that Allen is now a Kansas City Chief season ticket holder. She was also the first person to find out Allen was dating someone, the first person he told when Caitlin officially became his girlfriend and the first person he called when he bought the engagement ring. She was one of the first family members Caitlin met and has been cheering on Allen and Caitlin since the beginning.
Groomsman
Dan and Allen met in college. Dan still loves to bring up that the first time they met, it was in his dorm and Allen wanted to keep hanging out, but he kicked him out because it was late and Dan wanted to go to bed. A tradition that continues to this day. Allen and Dan were roommates for two years in college with plenty of stories to tell from that time. While single, Allen would spend a lot of time at Dan's place (sometimes uninvited) and travel with him and his family. Allen continues to bother Dan and his family into their 40s as he is the Godfather of Dan's oldest, Ellis.
Groomsman
Matt and Allen are longtime childhood friends. Their families moved to Peachtree City around the same time in the early 90s and have been part of each others lives ever since. The families have a tradition of spending the 4th of July in Peachtree City together every year. Allen and Matt were best friends in high school and Allen moved in with Matt after graduating from UGA and getting his first 'real' job in Savannah. Matt and Allen are the kind of friends that it doesn't matter how short or long a time it's been since they've talked, but they pick up right where they left off last time.
Groomsman
Allen and Josh met through a mutual friend in 2014. Ever since, they have attended multiple sporting events together to cheer on their teams. For the most part, they cheer for the same teams, but the biggest obstacle in their friendship is the UGA vs auburn rivalry. A lot of friendly banter, but plenty of fun times tailgating and attending the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry games. Braves, Atlanta United, NFL and bourbon is what keeps these two connected when not talking college sports.
Groomsman
Allen and Kevin were roommates for about 7 years. They met in a Catholic men's bible study group. Allen was just getting into triathlons and Kevin had recently completed a full Ironman. Allen began to pick his brain about all things triathlon and it hasn't stopped since! They pushed each other in training all the time, but only did a couple triathlons together. They also enjoyed going to church, Eventide Brewing and Atlanta United games together. Their life trajectories were very similar and soon after Kevin met his now wife, Allen met Caitlin! Allen was the best man in Kevin and Leah's wedding in July 2023.
Flower Girl
Ellis Earle is Allen's Goddaughter and daughter of Dan and Caroline Earle, friends of Allen and Caitlin. Ellis is 6 years old.
Ring Bearer
Jack Kollar is Caitlin's nephew and Godson. He is 4 years old, loves all sports but especially baseball, cars, trucks and Paw Patrol.
