Tuckaleechee Caverns
Tuckaleechee Caverns of Townsend, TN. Known as the “Greatest Site Under the Smokies” are the highest rating Cave or Cavern of the Eastern United States. Carved inside the earth’s oldest mountain chain and estimated to be between twenty to thirty million years old, the Caverns are rich in history and lore in recent years as well. You will find the “BigRoom” on one end of the tour that could almost fit a football stadium inside it. On the other half of the tour you get to view “SilverFalls”. It falls 210 feet from top to bottom and the tallest subterranean waterfall in the Eastern US . Millions of formations are viewed along the 1.25 mile round trip adventure.
Cade's Cove Scenic Loop
Cades Cove is a broad, verdant valley surrounded by mountains and is one of the most popular destinations in the Great Smokies. It offers some of the best opportunities for wildlife viewing in the park. An 11-mile, one-way loop road circles the cove, offering motorists the opportunity to sightsee at a leisurely pace. Allow at least two to four hours to tour Cades Cove, longer if you walk some of the area's trails.

CLIMB Works Smoky Mountains - Zipline Tour
We had the best time zip lining at CLIMB Works. The staff is fun and friendly, and the ATV ride up to and down from the lines was just as fun!

This is where we got engaged! It's a great hike, but it will wear you out!
Fowler's Clay Works
A great little place for buying and making pottery! We took a 1 hour pottery class here and each made a small vase. We loved it!
Cherokee Grill and Steakhouse
You cannot go to Gatlinburg without stopping here for a cheese filled filet mignon.
The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel
A giant ferris wheel for all of your giant ferris wheel needs.
Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies
We went here on our engagement vacation. It's pretty easy to get in and out and it doesn't take hours to get through. They have later hours, and we definitely recommend doing this in the late afternoon when there are less people.
Great Smoky Arts & Crafts Community
Gatlinburg has an amazing arts & crafts community. You can take a drive around the eastern part of Gatlinburg and find so many cute shops to stop in and pick out a hand crafted item to remember your trip!
Newfound Gap
A picturesque overlook on the Appalachian trail, also the trail head for the Charlie's Bunion hike. It's a beautiful drive up to the the overlook and a lovely place to park the car and take some pictures!

Swing by this charming restaurant near the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Community and enjoy some delicious wild plum tea with your delicate peach schnapps dessert.
