Allen and Brittany met at the Opry Mills Mall, in Nashville, Tennessee, where they were both employed at the fashion retailer, Express. Like many, the two bonded over their mutual animosity toward the general population, but also shared their mutual affinity for Zoolander quotes and Martin's Barbecue. Soon after, they both quit their retail jobs, fell in love, and have never looked back.

As many of you may know, when it comes to poker, Allen is an all-in kind of guy. That's why when his hot air balloon plans in Gatlinburg were cancelled for 6mph winds, he scrambled around for a plan B. Turns out, plan B was a 9 mile hike up the Appalachian Trail, and delivered just as many amazing views. Brittany was completely startled when Allen fooled her into taking a picture near a cliff edge and got down on one knee. Luckily, she said yes and no one fell and/or jumped. The entire journey up and down the mountain felt like some sort of metaphor that described their whole relationship, or maybe just the faint resemblance to some Miley Cyrus song. Regardless, they got off that mountain, happily engaged, and took the longest nap of their lives.
