We recommend arriving between August 17, 2026 and August 24, 2026 to enjoy the full wedding festivities and spend time celebrating with us. That said, you’re absolutely welcome to arrive earlier or stay longer if you’d like—please feel free to explore and enjoy the beautiful city on your own schedule. We want you to make the trip your own and enjoy every moment!
Due to the intimate nature of our celebration, this is an invitation-only event. We kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. Thank you for your understanding.
The dress code for our celebration is formal. Guests are also warmly welcome to wear traditional attire from their country or culture, should they wish
Guests can look forward to a Sudanese and Fulani fusion wedding, celebrating the traditions and cultures of both. The festivities will showcase elements from each wedding culture—so come prepared to dance, celebrate, and enjoy a joyful, high-energy experience.
Guests may choose accommodations based on their preference. However, please note that many hotels in Cairo do not permit unmarried guests of the opposite sex to share a room. If this may be a concern, Airbnb or similar private rental options could be a more flexible choice.
Cairo is a very affordable city. Depending on the length of your stay, $300–$500 should allow for a comfortable visit. We recommend bringing cash, which can be converted to Egyptian pounds upon arrival, as cash is widely used throughout the city.
Yes- U.S. citizens traveling to Egypt require a visa, which can be obtained as an e-Visa online (recommended) or on arrival for roughly $25-$60 USD in cash. A 30-day tourist visa is available, requiring a passport valid for at least 6 months beyond arrival. Use only the official Egyptian e-Visa portal to avoid overpaying (evisaentry.com).
