Should we expect any changes to the wedding due to COVID-19?

Answer

These are difficult times for all of us and we understand the financial strain this is creating for each of you. We are aware that traveling and booking hotels and rentals may not be possible for sometime and that having the financial means to make it to our wedding may not be possible. We are still planning on moving forward with our wedding in July and ask that you simply RSVP if you are coming or not. We still ask that you RSVP no later than June 19 to give us an accurate guest count. Please continue to check our website for any changes to our wedding, however.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP no later than June 1, 2020. Please RSVP online by typing your name, we will not be sending paper RSVP’s with our invitations. We want to give our caterer as accurate a number as we can and if you do not RSVP by June 1 we will assume you cannot make it.

There is an address change!

Answer

We are deeply sorry for the confusion but it seems that the address of the venue is incorrect. Please be aware that the address is 15 WALKER RD. Not 18 Walker Rd. We will have signs and balloons up to help with the location of the house! Thank you for understanding.

What kind of attire is the wedding?

Answer

Ladies, please reconsider wearing heels! Both the ceremony and reception will be out on the lawn where it is pretty grassy. The weather during this time will be dry and in the low 80s, but there will be plenty of shade with all of the trees. Temperatures can drop down in the 60s in the evening so maybe consider a light layer to put on top! Cocktail and summer dresses are welcome with light and airy materials most suitable.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Please carefully read the names on the invitations sent out. We are only accepting guests that have been listed on the invitation and would kindly ask that you do not bring someone not listed on your invitation. We have limited capacity and want to celebrate our special day with the friends and family we have specially picked out.

What if I can’t make it to the wedding?

Answer

We understand that everyone’s schedules are busy with work, school, and other appointments and completely understand if some of you can’t make it. We just ask that you text Dylan or Aliz, or RSVP on our website to let us know if you are not coming.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We plan on starting at 4:15 EXACTLY. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes early to find your seat. Please keep in mind time to find a place to park, use the restroom, etc.

Are photos allowed during the ceremony/reception?

Answer

Please be considerate during the ceremony and refrain from taking any photos or recording any videos. Our ceremony will be unplugged and don’t want your devices interfering with the photographer we’ve hired! We are more than happy to have you take photos afterwards and feel free to use our hashtag #AMilamTimesYes.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will all be held at the Woodruff residence and they have a long driveway you can park along with no trouble.

Where are you registered to and can we ship directly to your address?

Answer

We understand how much time and money each and every one of you is taking out of your regular schedules to make it to our wedding and do not want anyone to feel pressured into purchasing a gift on top of other expenses to make it to our wedding. We ask for your time and presence only, but you can purchase gifts through our website and we would prefer that you send them directly to our address versus bringing them to the wedding! We will also be traveling and are thankful in advance for doing so.
