Key Largo is the first of the fabulous Florida Keys and is the self-proclaimed Dive Capital of the World. It is home to the world's largest artificial reef, the 510-foot USS Spiegel Grove, the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the African Queen. Our new dive shop in Key Largo has everything you'll need for your diving adventure in the beautiful Florida Keys! We've got the best of diving here, everything from extensive coral reefs, artificial reefs / wrecks, ledges, walls and centuries old shipwrecks. Oh, and don't forget the fish! Depths range from 18-120 feet, with each dive site offering its own unique qualities! Our charters hit all the great spots, from Key Largo's Elbow Reef down to Islamorada's Conch Wall.
For a more laid-back dining vibe, swing by the Lorelei Restaurant and Cabana Bar, the "Pulse Of Islamorada," for one of Jimmy Buffet’s “boat drinks” and the best sunset East of Key West. You can’t beat the Lorelei’s fish tacos and grilled Caribbean lobster when it is in season.
Off Key Largo are John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, where the rich underwater life and a number of wrecks attract many snorkelers and scuba divers. The park has a small swimming area with a shell-covered beach, but many people come here to snorkel or dive. Picnic areas and an information center with displays on the habitats and marine life provide fascinating insight into the marine environment. A variety of tours are available, including glass-bottom boat tours for a close-up look at the world beneath the ocean surface.
