We are so excited to FINALLY celebrate with you!

The couple met on a popular dating app, and it all started with that swipe to the right. Robert sent Alivia the first message and they talked all day and into the evening, talking about everything from childhood vacations to their mutual love for The Beatles. The next night they decided to get together at District Pour House for dinner and drinks, but 2 unfinished cocktails, one half eaten appetizer, and four hours later and they both knew they had found something more than just a dinner date... this was something special.

It’s off to California for Alivia’s 30th birthday! After a one-of-a-kind dinner at Valette in downtown Healdsburg, the couple headed back to their Airbnb to relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounding wine country. A huge farmhouse to themselves, Robert heads upstairs to grab a sweater as Alivia builds a cozy nest by the fire. When he returns, Robert sits down and says he’s been writing something at work that he’d like to read. Since they have a history of playing D&D and a shared interest in fantasy, Alivia thought nothing of it and assumed that perhaps he was developing a new character he was excited about. About halfway through the story, Alivia realizes that, instead of a new character, he had in fact written about the two of them and that their love story had been put to paper in the form of a fairytale. He asks a tearful, “Will you marry me?” to which she replies, “Yes, yes. A thousand times YES!”

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Robert and Alivia were wed in a very intimate ceremony at their originally planned venue. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, they shared vows and dedicated their lives to one another. Although not what they had originally planned, it was a beautiful ceremony, followed by a fun photo session at the Loose Park Rose Garden and Sculpture Park at the Nelson-Atkins Museum, their favorite locations in Kansas City. It is their wish to share these memories with you, as well as make new ones, at a later date.

It's time to CELEBRATE! The past year has been rough on everyone and it's finally time to let loose and celebrate love. Gathering will take place at The Rosemont Estate for a lovely outdoor ceremony, followed by dinner, drinks, and dancing the night away. There will be plenty of space to safely spread out for every level of comfortability. We hope you will join us in celebrating family, health, and one year of marriage!
