Hi there, it's Nisha! I've been blessed with Alissa's presence since our Washington High School days. We went from talking about homework to being best friends in virtually no time at all. Now, I can't imagine a life without her - in the wise words of Alissa "you're stuck with me forever." We are so close that not only do we share a passion for music festivals and travel, but I gifted her Buster (her dog!) when he was only a puppy and they've been inseparable ever since. She's extroverted and of all the years of knowing her, there's never been a dull day. Alissa is such a beautiful soul and to know her is to love her, truly. She is one of the most loyal people I know and I couldn't be happier standing by her side as she marries her best friend. #BagubeForever

Ryan and I grew from being complete strangers, to co-workers, and now to someone I consider my brother in a very short amount of time. We both share a love for life and adventure that may or may not get us into trouble at times (sorry Alissa). From sleepless nights exploring the remote backcountry of various national parks to waking up early and shredding the slopes of Tahoe, I can always depend on Ryan to have my back. They say that things are never quite as scary when you’ve got a best friend and as I look to stand beside Ryan on his next adventure in life. I can't be happier that he is marrying the love of his life and best friend, Alissa.

Hi there, I am Connie, Alissa's sister-in-law, as well as the matron of honor! I met Alissa around 4-5 years ago at one of those many Taco Tuesdays Michael used to host at the Fremont Yee house. Before meeting her in person, I have always heard of her as the popular, outgoing little sister that Michael has and that is all true! Over the years, I have learned so much more about her and am absolutely amazed by her personality! I have become friends with her best friends too, whom I will be spending so much time with as the bridesmaid crew, during this exciting wedding journey of #becomingbagube.

I’m Mariella, or according to Uncle Garrett, Maribel. Alissa and I have been friends since catechism, but we became BFF's our freshman year of HS. We had countless adventures, too many to name! From climbing her backyard wall after lunch to rush to class (we would still be late), to walking all over Fremont because we didn’t have our license yet, and protecting her from anyone that would try and pick on her- we were so attached to the hip that people thought we were dating! To this day, we still have each other’s back no matter what and her family welcomes me with open arms; I am genuinely appreciative of how much Auntie Maria and Uncle Garrett have included me as one of their own. I couldn’t imagine growing up without our group of girls, especially the baby sister of the group, Alissa.

It’s an honor to be apart of this celebration. I met Alissa & Ryan in Las Vegas through mutual friends. Instantly we clicked about life and had a beautiful weekend. Honestly I never would of thought we would cross paths again. A few months pass and I get a job opportunity to move 300 miles away from home. My new co workers… guess who? Ryan and Alissa!!! It’s been a pleasure to watch you grow and be apart of special moments we will all remember for the rest of our lives. Hey, I’m Iliana! As one of Alissa’s countless cousins, some of my earliest memories with her are swimming in Lake Del Valle and eating snacks on top of the lifeguard deck at the end of the day during our family reunions. It was the perfect way to avoid cleaning up after the festivities and our last chance to spend time with distant cousins we only saw a few times a year. A tradition we happily passed in to the younger generation. We became closer when meeting at our Tia Juani’s house, while her dad was running for state assembly. After a trip to the New Park Mall, we haven’t looked back since! She introduced me to her group of friends that I now get to call mine and can’t imagine life without. I’m so excited and honored to be a part of your special day! #BangBangBagubeGang

Ever since the first time I met Ryan my friendship with him has become one of those few great relationships where you don’t ever remember not knowing the person and it feels as though you have known each other since childhood. I was fortunate to end up working with Ryan at Tesla where he was one of the great salesmen there and he kindly taught me many of the skills that helped him do so well. If you know him you know he is always friendly, very motivated and has this wonderful quality of levity that made working with him feel less like a job and more like you were just hanging out with your friend. I am grateful to know him and Alissa and am honored to participate in their wedding. I look forward to seeing the life they create together and hope to always be apart of it.

I have known Alissa since we were in 2nd grade. We were in a Nickelodeon bowling league. We didn’t go to the same elementary school but we kept in touch through CCD and sleepovers. Through CCD and middle school we became super close bringing Mariella as well. We had a rebellious phase and would do some questionable things, but we thankfully learned from those experiences and grew. In HS I joined the cheer team, I had lost my best friends and because of that and Alissa took me and brought me into the current girl group we have now. We became the best of friends through cheer, competition, and all the fun HS activities. Now we are sisters and I don't know what I would do without Alissa in my life. She is my longest friend and I couldn’t be more thankful to have her and her family in my life.

The Groom and I met during our time in sales at Tesla. Before we’d met, I would always notice his name consistently near the top of the leaderboard and wonder who he was - something of a Gatsby effect. So when we finally did meet, there was quite a bit of skepticism from my end. But my barriers and suspicions were quickly dismantled as his charisma and authenticity could not be questioned. We quickly fell in sync, stride for stride, going through all kinds of misadventures and are now lifelong friends. Congratulations to The Bride and The Groom.

I first met Alissa at Tesla in San Jose where we both worked. During this time I was finishing up my BA and she was finishing her MA, both at SJSU. We enjoyed going wine tasting together and I was so impressed with Alissa’s wine knowledge, I went from only drinking white wine to loving red wine! Alissa generously opened up her family’s home as a safe space for me to live for a little while. After we graduated, we decided to move in together. We moved into a home in San Jose, which we named "Purcell Palace" and then moved to Alameda and which we named "Lafayette Chateau". This is where we currently live, exchanging memories, laughs and good times! I am so excited to stand by Alissa’s side on her wedding day. I have seen her grow into the strong women she is now and I couldn’t be more proud!

Hi, I'm Rosie! I have been one of Alissa's best friends since the 4th grade. Our friendship began when I became the new kid at Maloney Elementary. I was bald and shy at first; I was unsure how I was going to make friends at a new school. But Alissa saw me right away and developed a huge crush on me! Eventually, she realized I was a girl... but ever since our rom-com beginning, we were attached at the hip growing up! Even when I left for college in San Diego, Alissa visited me often. Now I can't wait to stand next to her as one of her biggest dreams comes true! #bagubeforever

Hi, I’m Beighly! I had the pleasure of meeting Alissa during a college internship of mine. I was teaching elementary school aged girls to code, and she was fulfilling a class requirement. Although we were there for different reasons, I believe fate brought us together and we bonded over the fact we were both libra’s and freshly 21. Through the countless nights on the town, and the unpredictability of your early 20s, we have seen each other through many ups and downs. From the day I met my husband, to the birth of my daughter, Alissa has always been there for some of my life’s biggest moments, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have a friend like her. Alissa is beautiful inside and out, and I am so honored to stand by her side, and watch her marry her best friend! Cheers!

Hi, I’m Maya! I have known Alissa all of my life as I am one of her younger cousins. Aside from being my older cousin, Alissa has also had several other important roles in my life such as being my godmother, babysitter, and most recently- sorority sister! All of my life I have looked up to her as my “cool older cousin” whose hand-me-down clothes were the entirety of my wardrobe. Although as I get older, she has become someone who I know I can always confide in (like the big sister I never had) and now have a drink with woot, woot! Hi my name is Mary! I am one of Alissa’s younger cousins. We both grew up in the Bay Area and spent many years going to family events and many holidays and we even both celebrated being graduates from San Jose State University. Alissa is the sweetest and caring person, recently she took care of me this summer when I got sick and I had to be isolated and it meant a lot to me especially because she was able to make time to help. Alissa is a good role model and someone I really look up to since I don't have any sisters.
